Fifteen years before I moved to the desert Hwy 111 magazine did a feature on my work. I’m still painting desert landscapes.

I had a joint show with another artist at prominent art gallery BGH in Santa Monica.
InStyle Magazine Mention, 1999
Unbeknownst to me, my artwork was mentioned in an InStyle article about actress Kelli Williams’ house in Los Angeles. Her husband bought three of my paintings. I found out about it when someone called to congratulate me.
Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) Rental Gallery, 1998
LACMA used to have a sales and rental gallery and they asked me to include a painting after the Los Angeles Times feature in 1998. I included my painting “Miss California.” I never got a photo of it hanging in the gallery because someone rented it during the preview event. I received a check in the mail every month for several years after that until they paid enough to own the work.

Influential Los Angeles Times journalist Patt Morrison included me in a feature story in the Sunday magazine titled, “The Court Painters.” Her support of my work started my painting career.
